DEC. 10 2006 Year to date, the Dow Jones Industrial average is up 14.6 percent, the S&P 500 index is up 12.7 percent, the Nasdaq composite is up 10.1 percent and the Russell 2000 (up 0.27 to 792.56, is up 17.7 percent.
